Engaged In Intimate Behaviors 10/29
Mads Lynnerup @ Baer Ridgway

Next door at Catherine Clark was Masami Teraoka . These two pieces were nice.

Then over to the SFMOMA for a long overdue visit.

There were 2 shows that opened last night that I was exceptionally excited about. Henri Cartier-Bresson and the Voyeurism show. SFMOMA always curates some of the greatest photography shows I’ve seen anywhere.
Here are a few photos from their anniversary show which was not the reason I was there but I hadn’t seen it yet.
In one of the hallways there were historical photo’s of S.F.
These 2 were nice. I feel Like I have seen this first one before somewhere else.

This T.L. corner definitely looks different these days. Well structurely.

2 picture. No more picture. They told me twice not to take a pictures.

Then I snuck a 3rd one in. Just to show you the somewhat the size of the show. It’s huge. So many photos to digest.

Ahhh always a good sign of something not so “Safe”

1 photo of of one of my favorite photos by Garry Winogrand and Security once again telling me not to take photos

2nd photo and again told not to take pictures. The security Lady got really aggressive towards me because she saw the other security guard tell me to not take pictures. How am I not gonna try and sneak photos at a show based upon Voyeurism? It’s to obvious.

They had two large room video installations as well. One that was a slide show of Nan Goldin’s Sexual Dependency photos with music. A second in the picture below and I spaced who it was.

I would say that “Exposed” Voyeurism, Surveillance, and the Camera, is certainly the most interesting show I have seen this year. There is an abundance information to take in and really great work by artist spanning many generations. I will most likely be visiting again for a second viewing. Don’t miss out. Go.
