San Francisco has always contributed and nurtured independent publishing.
Between 1977-1979 V.Vale was producing an excellent punk rock zine with such contributing writers as William S. Burroughs, Alan Ginsberg, and J.G. Ballard. Much like Slash Magazine which you may remember from a previous post…the design and content is still very relevant today.
